Monday  

January 29th, Feb 5,12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19,  April 2, 9, 16, 23-  April 23rd "recital" night parents are invited to attend class 

 

Musical Theatre (All Ages) - $100  Monday- 6-7

Have big dreams of performing on the great white way? Well this class is the perfect one for you! The focus of this class is to build confidence in the musical theatre repertoire both vocally, and physically. The class will be broken into two segments singing: you’ll learn all you need to knock the socks off everyone at your next audition! Dancing; you’ll be put through the paces and dance call ready! (dance shoes recommended unless told otherwise for specific songs)

Tap (All Ages) - $100  Monday 7:15-8:15

Love tapping your toes to the rhythm? Have we got the class for you! In this class we will start with the basics of tap focusing on terminology, history, balance, and coordination. Moving on to speed and combinations. Eventually we will be tapping to some fun tunes from pop to broadway! (Tap shoes required

Tuesday

Beginning Singing Techniques (10+) - $75 Tuesday- 6:15-6:45

The focus of this class is to prepare less experienced singers with tools to build a confident voice and understanding of music. learning and reading music notes, sight reading, sight singing, and breathe support are just some of the important tools you’ll get out of this class.

Stage Makeup (10+) - $75  Wednesday 6:15-6:45

Ever wondered how your favorite characters look the way they do? Well now is the time t learn! In this class you will learn a solid foundation for stage makeup and how to apply, and create different looks. Anyone interested in helping with our summer production of The Lion King should take this class!!

Acting Through Song (All Ages) - 6:15-6:45 Jan-Feb          

 This class to help singers embody the character of a song, and not only sing it well, but perform it and explore all the ways a song can be expressed. It’s also for actors to learn to sing properly while still being in the moment.

Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, April 7, 14, 21, 28 

 

Creative Movement and Acting (3-6) - 9 am- 10 am 

Got a little one born for the stage? Got a little one whose already got some great dance moves? This is class to help our little ones explore their motor skills and physical and spacial awareness and balance with ballet, tap, and some fun physical songs (chicken dance, head and shoulders, hokey pokey). It will also expand their imagination and creativity and sense of direction with acting and theatre games!

Hip Hop (10+) -- 11:45 am - 12:45 pm            

 This class is all about movin and grovin. Dancers will learn some history and terminology while dancing to their favorite current music and maybe some throwbacks in fun high energy combinations!

Acting Skills (10+) - 1:00-2:00pm 

This class is designed to help students develop and advance their acting skills. Students will work to develop assigned scenes through blocking and character development. They will learn the basics of acting theory, such as Ura Hagens' 9 Questions for a Character. Students will have the opportunity to create their own play using devised theatre.

Rehearsals are Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, April 7 from 10:15-11:30

Performances Friday, April 13 at 6:30pm and Saturday April 14 a 11am.  Call time for Friday 5:30 and Saturday 10:15.
